Programme 2010 PDF Print

The theme for BMS-2010 is "Intangible Heritage and Museums".

This programme will be very interactive, participants being expected to contribute ideas throughout, and to challenge as much as possible. The opportunity for exchanging experience-based expertise, challenging ideas – one’s own and others’ – is all too rare. The more radical and challenging the ideas engaged with, the greater the rewards when returning to practice.
In particular there will be:

  • A formal debate about issues regarding intangible heritage and its connection with museums;
  • Study trips to museums in Latgale;
  • Social interaction.
